Hey Everyone!
OK - THE UPDATE!
So, as many of you may know - I moved to LA last month. I guess officially I started paying rent the first of Feb. but I really didn't start moving my stuff down till the 2nd week in Feb. At which point I stayed for 1 week, did some auditions - booked one job singing at a benefit (yey!) and then went back to SF to work for a week and a half and also get MORE stuff to bring down with me from my house up there. Then, I came back down to LA officially moved all my shit in, was here about a week, and then my mom's significant other passed away after battling with cancer for the last year, and so I went back home for 2 weeks. Then, I came back down, did some auditions was here for about a week and got CAST in a show that will take me away from LA for 3 MONTHS!!
Crazy isn't it?
Needless to say, it's been a hectic couple of months, both emotionally and logistically. But I am very excited about this opportunity! I will be performing in "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" up at Sierra Repertory Theatre, which is up in Gold Country at the Sierra Foothills. So I'll be pretty much in isolation up there, just concentrating on the show - I'm hoping that this will be a break from a lot of the stress that's been going on in my life the last year in particular. And it will be a housed, paying gig - so that is also great!
I'm sad to be taking this leave of absense from LA when I just got here and I hadn't even really had the chance to settle in yet - but I WILL BE BACK!!! And it's for the best also, because as some of you may know I really didn't feel good in the place i have been living in - it's in a dangerous neighborhood, so I have been trying to find a new place down here which has been difficult. Now, I won't have to worry about that till June!
But with that in mind- I am trying to disperse some of my belongings amongst really awesome friends down here because I really don't want to move them back up North again only to move them back down here in a couple of months! Also, I don't have any room in my itty bitty car and I plan on leaving for SF on Wed - I start rehearsal next week!
SO - IS THERE ANYONE WHO THINKS THEY CAN HELP ME OUT AND BABYSIT SOMETHING OF MINE UNTIL MID-JUNE??
Some of my awesome friends have already offered to help by holding onto my bed, my desk, my bookshelf and some of my boxes. I still have to find someone to take one of my nightstands - it's not too big, but it is still a piece of furniture, it's a double- nightstand so a little bigger than a regular nightstand, but nowhere as big as a dresser (I'd say about 2 1/2 ft. wide by almost 2 ft. deep). Other than that I have a few other little boxes and things - like my yoga ball. Lemme know guys! I would greatly greatly appreciate it!!!
Also, I'd love to see some of you - I really haven't been around much at all, and haven't had the chance to settle in, so I haven't been at all social. Haven't gotten to really see any of you! =(

It's my usual show post! Just wanted to give you all the head's up and some info about the show I'm working on right now MISS SAIGON!
This show is really going to be phenomenal and I have a great role in it - I'm playing Gigi (for those of you who know the musical). Anyway, so I think it's going to be a really awesome show. So you should definitely not miss it! Especially, those of you who have been saying you really want to see me perform this would be the best opportunity!
MISS SAIGON runs Sept 22 - Oct. 8th in San Mateo at Broadway by the Bay.

Tickets are $34 regular price for adults.
But *group* tickets are only $29 each (or even as low as $27 each)
To get the group ticket price all you need is a group of 10 or more ppl. Tickets are $29 but for every 10 tickets the organizer gets one free ticket - so if you have 11 ppl and split the total cost ($290) it comes to roughly $27 a ticket.
So you all should get together a try to get in on a group!
Also make sure to MENTION MY NAME at the time of purchase - I will get points as well. =)

PS - this show is NOT appropriate for children (or anyone under the age of 13, unless they're incredibly mature). If you don't know it, it's basically the story of Madama Butterfly set around the Vietnam War. It's incredibly heavy and pretty depressing, but the music is amazing and the show is incredible. I play, Gigi Van Trahn, a bar girl (or whore) and will be wearing barely any clothes for the first scene - but i sing a brief solo (Movie in my Mind). Then throughout the rest of the show I'll be dancing, singing, and incredibly busy supporting this amazing show in the ensemble. The leads are incredible and it's the kind of show that is an experience to go see.

Just wanted to give you the heads up that if you wanted to come see me play Babette in Disney's Beauty and the Beast Musical there are only 3 perfomances left! It closes this Sat.!

Hi Everyone -
I know it's been forever as usual - and I have been so busy lately that I haven't even taken the time to post my usual plugs for things coming up!
Thank you to everyone who came out to the Cherry Blossom Festival yesterday to see our performance! I really appreciate your support. It was such an honor to be asked to perform with the rest of the traditional acts and organizations who have been performing with the festival for years. SF Japantown holds so many wonderful memories for me and it was wonderful to be a part of the 100th celebration, especially with the latest reportings in the news and rumors about developments, etc. that would destroy parts of Japantown...I don't know the details, but I really hope none of that happens!
Anyway, Thanks again to all of the UM girls who performed - you all did great and thank you for all of your hard work! =)
We were SOooooOOOOooo Lucky that it didn't rain - It rained so hard in the morning, I was afraid there would be noone there - but luckily the sun actually came out - and the plaza was PACKED! It was so great! Then as soon as we were done it started raining again, and within an hour it was POURING. Soooo lucky!!! =D
I hope all of you friends who I haven't been in contact with for ages are doing well - I am hoping to come down to LALA land soon and will keep you posted - I still have shows for Beauty and the Beast (www.ccmt.org) until May 13th - but I may come to go to Dland with the cast during the weekdays.
Speaking for Beauty and the Beast - if you can, come see it! I think this is one of the best shows I've ever been in .... actually the BEST!
The cast is phenomenal and the sets and costumes are Broadway level (parts of the castle were actually built using pieces from the Broadway production of Jekyll and Hyde)
Anyway, I play Babette zee feather duster! It's a totally fun role. Our beast is incredible and our Belle seems like she stepped out of the movie, So if you can make it check out

Heya!!
I *am* indeed coming down to LA this weekend - TODAY actually. Leaving monday.
So! Give me a call if you want to hang out.
I want to go to Dland on Sunday and am hoping some of you wonderful peeps will join me! I don't have a pass anymore because it expired and I haven't been to Dland in a year (the horror!) So I absolutely MUST go. Even if I have to pay ;_; It's going to be a depressing feeling for sure but I miss Dland so much!!!
Anyone want to come with?!
I think I'm going to have a get together Sat. night probably Oiwake's, maybe even karaoke since it's been so so many ages!! So keep it in your minds - I don't know about tonight, unless anyone wants to hang, give me a call. I'm also pretty much free all day tomorrow - Monday I was gonna go shop at the FD.

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year! And have a safe and fun New Year's Eve!
I'm totally excited! I will be go-go dancing at this really awesome, swanky, expensive party at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero! =D And my shift ends at 11pm and I get to stay for the party the rest of the night and get a guest in too! yey! Prepaid New Years - yipee!
Thanks for the recommendation to Gogo pro AJ! =D I FINALLY got around to submitting to them a few weeks ago and I danced with them for the first time last night at Ruby Skye. I totally love them they are so cool! It was really fun =)
I WILL be making a trip down to LALA land soon! I'm shooting for either the 2nd or 3rd week of Jan.! FINALLY! It will be a stop on the way to Vegas. *tee hee* =P
2006 is going to be the BEST year ever!!!

Hey Everybody!! (wow! 2 posts in one week it's a Christmas miracle!)
Just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of the UM girls - Annie, Ami, Mask, Lyddos, Mich, Kim, and Stellzas, plus Ojisan! You guys all did such a super duper wonderful job this weekend and I THANK YOU soo soo soooo much for all of your hard work!!
Thank you to everyone too, who came out to support us and see our performance! And MAJOR APOLOGIES to those of you who came out and had to miss it due to scheduling issues, and also those who waited around FOREVER for it to begin! Thanks so much!!!!
I feel sooooo bad that the concert/performance didn't turned out like how I had thought it would - you all deserved so much better, because you all worked so hard and were SOOO good!! Everyone gave it their all and was really fantastic so Thank you SO MUCH for that and I'm sooooo soooorry that the venue wasn't what I'd thought it'd be. I am convinced that things just were bound for disaster because of the personal hell I was going through this week - my luck was like the worst, so it was only fitting that it would rain and things would go all crazy! (let's count them shall we? It's actually pretty funny! #1 lost my wallet, #2 car broke down, #3 hot water heater broke, #4 rained on JTAF, #5 Annie forgets important backpack in my car! #6 cel phone won't charge...and it seems the bad luck hasn't stopped yet...is mercury in retrograde or something?) Plus, I think it also must be murphy's law since we all worked so hard leading up to the concert, overcoming all kinds of obstacles along the way, that it would end up all crazy in the end. *sigh* Oh well. Hopefully, I will be able to make it up to you all somehow - and I will be working on finding a new/better venue for us to do our concert (maybe even a bigger, better concert!) At least now we have it all rehearsed and prepared for another shot!
Everyone looked so fabu in their costumes! yey! =D At least we got to perform it, and got some pics of our outfits. I wish that we had had the chance to do a full photoshoot, but let's try to plan that for the future! =D
Anyway, despite all the ickiness - I had a great time working with you all on this project! You are all such wonderfully wonderful people and super dedicated, talented, hard workers!! Much lovesies! It was wonderful having this excuse to spend all kinds of time with you all. And Annie I'm so glad you were able to come up! It had been way too long since I'd seen you! Yey! Next time we must hit H & M...I STILL haven't been there yet since it opened due to my disgusting busy-ness! I will think of you when I finally get there!!!

I just haven't had any time to even breathe lately with my many projects and jobs...so now that JTAF and my latest project (A local Wedding TV Show that I am the host of that has been sucking up all of my time) are done - both deadlines were this weekend - I am going to try to deal w/ all this xmas stuff - I got my tree today finally! Yey! =) BUT unfortunately, the sickness that's been going around that I've been fighting for weeks, I think has finally got the best of me...I think I've got a cold..and possibly pink-eye...ewwwwwwwww...SOOOO anyway, that's another SETBACK to my Christmas Merryness!

I know I never post but ANNOUNCEMENT!!
If you can make it come on by JTAF tomorrow (Sat. Dec. 17th) for a USA Musume Concert starting at 3PM!
Make sure to get there early so that you can get a good seat!
We will be doing a full concert with MANY songs from our repertoire as well as new song "Ai No Sono Touch My Heart!" (sexirific!) It's an 8 girl concert! =D And we're sure to freeze in our outfits, so make sure to dress warm for us. The concert will be held outside in the Peace Plaza in front of the tower!

USA MUSUME will be at the PMX masquerade on Sunday Sept. 3rd! Don't miss it! We'll be performing Country Musume's "BYE BYE Saigo no Yoru" which is totally pink vinyley cute! Also totally a way more complicated dance than I realized when I decided on this project. hee hee *phew*
Anyway! Hope some of you will be at PMX & will be able to catch it.
Who all is going anyway? And does anyone have a video camera? *nudge nudge* =D
I'm also going to coordinate a dinner thingy on Sun. and possibly a beach party on Mon! So keep your eyes peeled for an Evite from me!

Well, Oklahoma is done - it was a really great show!! So i'm sorta sad it's over, but I'm already rehearsing for the next one (Hello Dolly) which opens in a couple of weeks. I've been really busy with auditions, etc. which is great!!
Anyway, I am just wondering if anyone from Nor Cal is driving down to PMX?! Some of the UM girls may be looking for a carpool! =D

Hey Everybody!
Waaaah! I miss everyone so much and was so bummed that I missed AX. It's such a wierd feeling! First AX I didn't go to since 1997!! wow. =( Well, it sounds like everyone had the usual amount of fun, I hope!
The reason why I couldn't go to AX was because of rehearsals for my show that opened this weekend! I really should have posted about it sooner, but I've been so busy. raar.
Anyway, I'm doing Oklahoma right now in Oakland! So if you live near Oakland you should come check it out because it's a really great performance! The dancers are amazing! (and there are some seriously HOT cowboys in it - no joke...i was like wondering if I was dreaming during the rehearsal process, lol)

So yeah I am like dead tired. I can't wait to sleep in MY BEAUTIFUL LOVELY BED!
Fanime was ok - It kind of sucked...I didn't really enjoy the con on the whole, but it's always good to see friends. I think what I didn't really like about the con was that I found it hard to locate ppl, so the reason why I go to cons - to hang out with friends - was sort of complicated. It was just sorta weird this year - I felt kinda out of the loop. Oh well. There were definitely fun moments! And I'm glad to hear other ppl had fun. It was ok...I'm just used to having MORE fun, so I guess I'm spoiled! =P
KIYOSHI - I totally owe you $20 - I'm so sorry I forgot to go to the ATM and when I remembered I couldn't find you. Can I paypal you or something?
CJ - Thanks so much for letting me crash in your room - you are a lifesaver. I was much happier when I woke up this morning after sleeping in a comfy bed. =D Please thank Juan for me too.
Ami - I hope you're feeling better and are over your sickiness soon - It totally sucks to be sick - It felt like we didn't have much fun this time around because you were struggling to be well. =(

I'm not going to give shout outs to everyone cause i never can list everybody so I'm not even going to try - But it was great seeing everyone that I did. I totally miss everyone, and it was like a big teaser seeing most of you only for moments, but better that than not at all! I'm hoping I will be able to make it down to LALA land one of these days.....but it looks like the only time I may be able to would be during a weekday...but I still think that's better than nothing.

I feel like I've dropped so far off of the face of the earth that no one has probably noticed I haven't been around, because that's NORMAL for me now. *sigh* Oh well, my latest show has closed which leaves me with a teeeeeny tiny little break before I start rehearsals for the next. And -
I WILL BE GOING TO FANIME! =D

USA Musume will also be performing at the masquerade halftime, so as usual we'd love to see you there and have your support!
